Off to Northern Italy for eight days in early November to mark the 30th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and talk about my Cold War novel ‘Sektion 20’ – or ‘Il Ragazza di Berlino’ as it’s known in Italy. Here I am with the lovely people who worked with me at Turin’s Literature Festival in 2018.
I have delivered the first draft of my eleventh novel for Bloomsbury Publishing. This book is about the Peasants’ Revolt of 1381 and has a working title of ‘Villeins’.
